on marriage
'Will you, um, marry me?' I haven't seen you in weeks! You don't look happy or excited about the prospect of our marriage! You're asking me to give up my - my freedom, my joie de vivre for an institution that fails as often as it succeeds? And why should I marry you anyway? I mean, why do you wanna marry me? Besides some bourgeois desire to fulfill an ideal that society embeds in us from an early age to promote a consumer capitalist agenda?

First--great pictures!! I especially love the ones of him approaching the Temple doors.
Second--congrats to your handsome son on his Baptism!!
Looks like a pretty special day for the family. I love the photos of your son and the temple, especially him looking up at the doors. Oh and the restaurant you ate at is definitely a favorite!!!! They have the best creme brulee'. It is so easy to chow down on all of their delightful desserts. He is a kid after my own heart ♥
What a special day! How wonderful! I l♥ve the pictures! Thanks for sharing :)

Fabulous pictures! How did you manage the picture of the font with so few children by them. Our baptisms are so full!
Beautiful pictures, what a wonderful day!
Love all the pictures.
I can't get enough of these pictures
How exciting! I love how you took some pictures at the temple afterward, it's a great reminder that baptism is just the beginning of His wonderful adventure in the gospel. Thanks for all the cute pictures.
Looks like it was a great day. :)
Awesome pics, did he get baptized IN the temple??? They do that? And dinner out?! Man I had chicken pox and slept through the party at my house! :(
What a great day. So many wonderful pictures. I also love the ones of him walking to the temple doors.
Oh, he is so cute. Love the hat and suit.
And he only ate desserts? So adorable...
congrats on his special day!
Hi Stacie,
I've was away from my grandson's blog and Facebook for a while because my daughter got married and I was trying to help her and my grandson move out of the house. It was also an emotional time for me because I really missed him for the first week that he was gone (he has been living at my house since birth). Anyway, I started posted again on April 28th and have done a few since then.
The photos of your son's baptism are so nice and I know that you must be happy and proud that he has taken this step at such a young age. Please say "Congratulations!" to him from me and The Booga Wooga.
I hope that things have been going well for you otherwise. Happy Mother's Day if I don't get back over here before Sunday!!!

Stacie,
OMG! I can't believe I forgot to mention this in the previous comment but, I also became a grandmother again since we last communicated. I have granddaughter now too. Now, do you see why I've been away for a while (smile)?
