LOL, but I'm still not sure what it is.

OK, so I thought it looked like a pregnancy test too ... but I've never seen one that looks like that. So, Mr. B isn't alone. He was the only one brave enough to say it! :)

yes ☺ hehe. it is a toy thermometer, but looks more like a p-test. after a few people choked on their dinner someone spoke up [i think it was me---blushing---] and told him it was a temp taker...for KIDS! It was on the counter [with the FOOD]. I think he was just puzzled what we are teaching our kids with a play p-test. Play house...take a test! Doesn't sound too g-rated! LOLOLOL

Talk about playing doctor. So glad that you clarified what it really is. I almost congratulated you, but had to pause just in case. Glad I did.

Hahahhaaaaaa! Oh, that's priceless.

on marriage

'Will you, um, marry me?' I haven't seen you in weeks! You don't look happy or excited about the prospect of our marriage! You're asking me to give up my - my freedom, my joie de vivre for an institution that fails as often as it succeeds? And why should I marry you anyway? I mean, why do you wanna marry me? Besides some bourgeois desire to fulfill an ideal that society embeds in us from an early age to promote a consumer capitalist agenda?
