HapPy sT. PatRIcK's dAy...Way Back Whens Day...

in case I forget to TELL you...Happy St. Patricks Day...

We love this holiday!!!

...the milk is dyed green by the leprechauns [thanks to Wendy...♥]

...the kids get to eat Lucky Charms...

We have Corned Beef and Cabbage, with Green Jello, Green Koolaid, Green Beans, Green Grapes, Kiwis, Pistachio Pudding...

Anything Green goes..

And it is all Mr. B's fault...for making St. Patrick's Day such a big deal when we were dating. He got permission to decorate my room. With about one hundred green and white balloon clouds, the rainbow and the pot o gold...with chocolate gold coins, of course...

He wrote a card that said, You'll never forget St. Patricks Day again...

and I haven't!

The kids have been officially brainwashed to think of this holiday up there with Christmas, and their birthdays...

SO, HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY... Hope yours is fun.

I would love any more suggestions on how you celebrate...for next year. Thanks...and don't forget to wear green....unless your like me and go for the pinching... ♥

I grew up having a big St Patty's day deal (living in New England where it's much bigger than out west.) And I usually do it up for the fam. But this year I've not been on the ball, and tonight is my RS birthday dinner. Maybe on Saturday ...

Love the rainbow! That is sooo clever.

A fellow blogger put something in all her toilets to make the water green!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I'm coming over from Mormon Mommy Blogs, asking for your help. I am in the running for a round trip airfare paid ticket to Connecticut, to meet a friend I became acquainted with through blogging. She is a super fun person and is holding this contest. I entered a funny story titled "Grapejuice Floaties, Now Marry Me." The person whose story receives the most votes will win a trip to meet this generous lady, whom I'm hoping to meet. The voting ends tonight-midnight. I used to be ahead but there is a story coming up from behind out of nowhere, and it's a tight race now. I would so much appreciate your help. Her blog is www.becausemomsaidso.blogspot.com and the voting is on the sidebar on the right. "Grapejuice, Floaties" Just go there and cast a vote for me, please. Thanks so much-you're awesome! ♥♥

on marriage

'Will you, um, marry me?' I haven't seen you in weeks! You don't look happy or excited about the prospect of our marriage! You're asking me to give up my - my freedom, my joie de vivre for an institution that fails as often as it succeeds? And why should I marry you anyway? I mean, why do you wanna marry me? Besides some bourgeois desire to fulfill an ideal that society embeds in us from an early age to promote a consumer capitalist agenda?
