Happy Turkey Recovery Day!

j mom, did you know
video games are good for you.
it works out your fingers
and
it gets your brain going.

Me: is your brain going now.

j: yep, let me see
(touching his head),

yep, feels good,
feels like its going.

S: hey, are there
anymore lucky charms.

Day after thanksgiving,
video games,
lucky charms
....and blogging!

Hope you all
are enjoying
the recovery!

I love it! I'm going to stop feeling guilty about letting my kids play too many video games now. It's a good brain and finger work out!!

Hi!

Me and Grammy saw the comment that you left at my blog today so, we dropped in to read the post about your son. It was really funny (smile).

Do you want to know something else? If you have a son named Elijah, that is my name too! The Booga Wooga is just the blogger name that my Grammy gave me. She said that it is something called an "alias" (whatever that is).

Please be sure to tell your son that we have the same name. I think that's really super!

Don't be a stranger...

I AM enjoying the recovery- and as you know, I really needed it!

BTW- I didn't take your comment on my blog any way other than the way you intended it- no worries.

What a smart little guy you have! Glad his brain is going well- who knew that video games were the secret?

on marriage

'Will you, um, marry me?' I haven't seen you in weeks! You don't look happy or excited about the prospect of our marriage! You're asking me to give up my - my freedom, my joie de vivre for an institution that fails as often as it succeeds? And why should I marry you anyway? I mean, why do you wanna marry me? Besides some bourgeois desire to fulfill an ideal that society embeds in us from an early age to promote a consumer capitalist agenda?
